How to Avoid Business Analysis Typecasting

Business Analysts can easily get typecast as requirements analysts for a specific type of project. We could blame Tom Smykowski from Office Space, or we could sharpen those business analysis skills that apply across different types of projects and allow us to help build a shared understanding of the right problem and the right solution.

In this interactive session we’ll discuss adaptability skills and techniques that you can use to position yourself as a leader in your organization. Not necessarily a leader of others, but a leader in the quest for business value and improved organizational performance. In other words, what business analysis skills position you to be effective on a project regardless of its particular characteristics.

  • Improving decision making in your organization, even if you are not responsible for making decisions
  • Delivering with purpose
