Overview:This course is a subset of our Essential Skills for the Business Analyst course and is intended for students who are only interested in defining project scope from the business analyst’s perspective.
Scoping the business area of analysis is the first step in identifying the level and complexity of the business analysis effort. The course discusses components of a typical project charter and additional components for which a business analyst will need to identify to begin the project.
A section on “How to Ask the Right Questions” covers communication skills critical for finalizing the scope regardless of the elicitation technique utilized.
Since this is a subset of a B2T Core Course, students will not be authorized to take the certification proficiency exam for free.
