1. How should I best prepare for the exam?
- You should study for each exam just as you would for any test, by reviewing the course materials, examples given, and notes that you have taken in class.
- You should plan to take the test when you have 1-2 hours available to complete it in one sitting.
- You may want to take the test soon after the class completes so material is fresh in your mind.
- If you are not a B2T Training student but an experienced Business Analyst, review the course content and read appropriate books recommended on our website for those areas you feel you need additional knowledge. Consider purchasing a study guide to assist you in passing each core course proficiency area exam. You may purchase the online exams for our three core courses through our shopping cart.

3. How long do I have to take the exam? Does the 8 hour period begin as soon as I login to the online website?
- We recommend you take the exam soon after completing the course so that the material is fresh in your mind.
- Exams are optional.
- We recommend that you take your exam within 30 days of authorization. Your authorization will expire after 60 days. You will incur a $50 fee to re-activate your authorization and take the exam after the initial 60 days.
- Each exam has an 8 hour timer. Once you answer the first question the 8 hour timer begins.
- If you logoff, the exam is saved but the timer continues (the timer does not pause even if you are not logged into the testing site).

8. If I do not pass an exam the first time, can I take a second exam right away? Are there any time constraints around taking the second exam? Are there any special procedures/changes for sign-in the second time around?
- We do recommend that you print the page that displays the areas where you missed at least one question (Gap Analysis Report) and study those areas before you attempt the test again. You may also review the Gap Analysis Report anytime by clicking the Exam Results menu item on the left menu bar and selecting view Gap Analysis.
- You may also review the Gap Analysis Report any time by clicking the Exam Results menu item on the left menu bar and select View Gap Analysis.
- You do not need to contact us to begin your second attempt and there is no change to your login procedure.
- You have an indefinite amount of time to take your second exam, but we recommend within 30 days of your first try.
- If you fail the second exam, you will need to wait 6 months and pay a $100 exam fee to take the exam a third time. Prior to taking your third attempt at an exam you may want to purchase one of our core course study guides to help you prepare for the exam. The cost of the study guide is $99. If you choose to purchase a study guide to help prepare for the exam we will waive the 6 month waiting period. The six months is waived because you will be gainning reinforcement and practice in core proficiency areas through the use of study guides and practice exams.

9. Who contacts whom after the failures?
- If you do not pass the test, we do not need to contact you because you will know immediately after submitting your exam if you score below 80%. You can always check your exam scores by clicking on Exam Results on the left menu bar.
- If you do not pass the second try, you need to wait 6 months and then you may contact us via email (certification@b2ttraining.com) if you would like a 3rd try. There is a charge of $100 for students and $149 for Non-students. We strongly recommend you try having more work experience, studying the areas you missed in your course materials, studying other resources as listed on our BA Resources page, working with a mentor, and/or attending the class again before attempting the exam for the 3rd time.

11. What happens if I do not have access to my exam? Can I send an email to my Instructor from within the online exam? Does it go to my instructor that I had in class?
Yes, you can send an email within the exam but your email goes to Certification Administration. Someone from Certification Administration will contact you during normal business hours. If you are having any problems with the exam, please review the type of problem you have and then send either an email to ExamBuilder or to the "instructor" (which routes it to B2T Certification Administration). If you send the email to B2T Training, please be reminded that you will receive a response by the next business day.
EXAMPLES of who to contact within ExamBuilder:
- When to Contact Your Instructor(B2T Certification Administration):
- You think you should be signed up for an exam and it doesn't appear in Current Exams
- When to Contact ExamBuilder Support:
- A technical error occurred (A link broke, an unexpected error occurred, your exam has timed out before you started it, during the exam the pages have timed out but you have not hit your 8 hour maximum., etc.)
